Deep Dogs - 4th @ Ferrara's CO

Silent Arbiter 378

I am, I always was and I always will be a control player. This deck is the exception that confirms the rule. But is not so far from a control deck itself.

In preparation for Ferrara's tournament I had 3 decks in mind: an Arissana control with DoF and CF quite similar to @koga's one but imo stronger (if played by him), a 419 with Hijacked Router and Maw really fun to play but kinda meh with the performances and this.

Sinse worlds, when I've seen this masterpiece I knew I would have loved to play it, just adapting it to the meta I was expecting (the 1x Sec Testing for instance against all those mavirus sleeping in archives and the flip switches for the ob players) Once @koga showed me the altart aumakua he intended to lend me for the tournament I knew I couldn't play anything else. Damn those altarts are really DOPE.

The deck went on fire on the day, losing only to the glacier Architects due to a deep dive seeing only a stego when I was at 5 points and being then unable to access anything else, due to 3ice/server. Had to check the remote where a Luminal would have won me the game.

In any case, this deck is fun. Incredibly fun. And rich aswell.

For those wondering: Reprise was played only once during the tournament, against the Architects. Run HQ, find agenda, run the remote bouncing the rezzed Manegarm (non ironically the most expensive thing to rez in architects) to trash the rashida. :)

Hi there, this looks sweet! Would you mind telling me what the flip switches are for?

@znsolomon flip switches are here mostly for Stavka + HafrĂșn combo in ob, but on the day worked pretty well against bad HB facechecks on the remote with aumakua not charded enough. You can use it to remove tags aswell, is always a good card imo, wouldn't play crim wirhout it.
