One way to think about , is that they disrupt the corp board state. And they do it directly and without subtlety.

Rules notes

A few things that might not be super-obvious:

  • Imp can trash whatever you're accessing for free, whether it is installed or accessed in HQ/R&D. VIP card here. Can trash Agendas that have costs you don't want to pay! Once the virus tokens are rolling, Freedom Khumalo: Crypto-Anarchist's power is strong as well. You can drastically up the power of the deck by including Aumakua, but I wanted to leave that for the deck.
  • Knobkierie is pretty key, and enables you to infinitely trash accessed cards with Imp, and to dig deep with Conduit. Friday Chip
  • You often want to overdraw, rather than play your breakers from hand. Discarding them effectively saves you the click to play them (as you can play them from Archives). Overclock credits can be used to install the breakers if they're coming from Archives!
  • Win condition is Conduit after tearing down R&D with Hippo & Botulus.
  • Note that breaking ICE with breakers doesn't often work out well for you with this deck (without liberal Leech & Hippo), so you have to often be a little more sneaky.

Why no Yusuf? It's a pretty fundemental card for every Freedom build. And arguably one of those conduits should be 2x Simulchip, which has a lot more utility.
