Despite the banlist dropping literally the day before the London CO, we had decided on friendly agreement that we'd respect the changes as best we could.
Like nearly everyone else it seems, I'd been playing Sokka's AgInf in the last few weeks, and I'd found that while it's an extremely good card, Tributary provides benefits (discouraging facechecks, dunking on crim) that your ID and archetype does pretty well already anyway. So I swapped the two copies out for a Vampyronassa and a Sadaka and it was fine.
The other changes were mostly just unnecessary tweaks.
- Offworld -> Longevity: because I like the combination of recursion and NA option on the latter
- Brân -> M.I.C.: I made this change purely because I ran out of Brans (good card!) for the multiple decks I was sleeving for our local meetups and I ended up really liking it. It feels like a good fit, although I wonder if it might be better to drop the Tollbooth for this slot.
- Sais -> Big Snek: I thought it would be funny, I got to blow up a Lobisomem with it, so it delivered.
Anyway, the archetype still feels very good post-ban. Charlotte is a powerhouse that also speeds up the game, and it makes this deck feel more like the Pālanās of old than the "click for three, pass turn" trudge that AgInf could often become. Between this and the many good asset decks out there, it's looks like it's still going to be a very rough time for runners in the near future.
Thanks to my opponents for the fun games this weekend, and our lovely TOs for organizing it. You're all great!
