Shaper goes Wyld v0.1

vomi 1

DESCRIPTION

This is a "big rig" deck that makes usage of credit and card draw efficiency. It a 40 cards deck with many 2x and 3x, so I'd say your gameplay can be quite consistent over different games.

Wyldside + Adjusted Chronotype + Magnum Opus give you a steady income of cards and credits. By having these cards in play you will probably click for money or card draw just a few times in the whole game.

You might be suffering and initial tempo loss but the benefits of having free cards and decent money every turn is huge.

Breakers are big rig-sh (with the exception of Snowball). No fixed strength breakers or datasucker shenanigans here: with enough money you want to be able to get anywhere.

GAMEPLAY

You want Magnum Opus and Wyldside installed ASAP. With only 40 cards and some help (Self-modifying Code, Test Run, Diesel) it shouldn't be difficult to have both installed in the first couple of turns. You will draw your Adjusted Chronotype later on.

After both cards are installed you probably want to start developing your board. Test Run and Scavenge is how you are going to install your big breakers, while Modded helps with R&D Interface, Dinosaurus, Atman and Snowball.

Even though this more like a mid/late game deck, you still have some tricks to apply early pressure if the corp is trying to rush agendas: Self-modifying Code, Stimhack and Test Run. I personally use Self-modifying Code mostly as a tutor for Magnum Opus, but if installed early can help slowing the corp down and allowing you to focus on getting money and your board out.

From there on the gameplay is quite straightforward: keep your money up and make sensible multiaccess runs on R&D and remotes. If things go very wrong (e.g. programs or other key cards trashed) consider using Levy AR Lab Access; Diesel and Wyldside will allow you to get your key cards fairly quickly.

This is like stimshop CT, but way more convoluted and slow.
