An ode to drago Ob (3rd@OKORINA 6) (Broad Daylight)

ID: Broad Daylight

Influence (15/15): 3 for 3xSpin Doctor, 4 for 2xPublic Trail, 3 for Restore, 4 for 2x Bio Vault

At OKORINA 5, I initially glanced over Broad Daylight in the ID list for, because it is a really bad agenda. But a friend pointed out how busted it is to be able to guarantee a kill after an Urban Renewal fire. Since then I have been waiting to bring this out, after sadly not having enough time to build it then.

I sadly wasnt around in the times that Urban Renewal for Drago Ivanov Ob was around, so I cant quite compare that to this accurately. But if that felt close to as good as this, I might need to recruit some people to play that old standard with me.

I may have gone a bit too deep with the Pivot toolbox since I only have a single Pivot. Wake Up Call for a guaranteed(TM) trash of a console against possible Avgustina Mulches was very cute but not very useful against a field of 0 of those. Pivot for Restore massively cooked and was the only thing that gave me a chance in the Quarterfinals (though i still lost that one)

Bio Vault is here because I foolishly expected people to pack more Pinholes than in OKORINA 5, I have no clue why I would think people would do that, surely no one puts tech cards in their fun tournament decks. It was still pretty solid. It does great work to reinforce an urban renewal server. One of them definitely should have turned into an oppo.

Economic Warfare obviously doesnt work on the combo turns, since your 3 clicks are already spoken for Public Trail, End of the Line and the Broad Daylight click. But are still useful to put the threat back into runners that are careful and keep 8+ credits.

I have no clue if Regolith is correct, it does feel a bit at odds with the fact that we give the runner 1bp. But i am very massively regolith pilled and will put that in most decks i build unless there is good reason not to.

Also, it is strictly incorrect to play City Works Project over Above the Law, that is a holdover from when Oppo was still on the table.

What about -1 regolith +1 roughneck repair squad, since you are starting with a BP (and potentially taking more from TBTF and trebuchet)?

@London that is a pretty good idea. That might be enough to build a version of this deck that actually cares about lategames.
