2.1 Notes:

Stealth Kit has been working wonders. Refractor really changed Kit's game and Astrolabe and Switchblade only make it better. This is a Pseudo Big Rig Efficiency deck that happens to be pretty easy to set up since Kit really only needs a single Refractor to be ready to roll.

The idea is to get in efficiently and cheap. Refractor is an insane decoder that's quick to install early and stays relevant. If you start with an opening hand of any stealth credit (Lockpick/Cloak/Ghost Runner) and Refractor or SMC, no early game ICE is going to stop you.

The most recent changes are switching BOX-E for Astrolabe and cutting Dagger for Switchblade (the +2 Influence from getting rid of BOX-E and using that towards Switchblade was perfect). Losing BOX-E makes this deck a lot more unsafe from Scorched and Jinteki, and losing the 1 console memory can be big, but Astrolabe makes the deck a lot faster. An opening hand with Astrolabe is hard to ignore. Even if the rest is garbage, mind who your opponent is and decide if they're likely to play a horizontal game.

Paintbrush is in the deck for when you're facing giant servers, but it's probably not needed most of the time. The only reason such a situational card is still in the deck is because it goes so well with Kit and it can be an absolute game-changer.

Leprechaun has been pulling its weight as a great memory alternative. Leprechaun is for housing Magnum Opus, Paintbrush, and any of your SMC's. It's basically paying 2 credits for 3 memory. After getting rid of BOX-E, I threw in a one-off of Cybersolutions Mem Chip for safety, and with Omnidrive, memory has rarely been a problem.

Early game economy is important! Later on, you'll be running efficiently with tons of recurring credits, but in the opening stages, getting your rig installed as you run with Refractor gets expensive. Honestly, an opening hand with Magnum Opus alone is worth it because you'll be set for the rest of the game.

Overall, this is a fun deck that is unstoppable if you get equipped with your essentials early on. It has a number of strong opening hands, and once it's set up, it can get anywhere without a hassle.

I like it. I'm used to play Kit but it was before Refractor was out. I didn't try her with stealth but it seems like a solid deck.

Really don't like BlacKat in this deck (or any Shaper stealth deck). It takes a long time to pay for itself over Corroder, costs more to install, more influence and eats lots of stealth credits if you dont want to spend a fortune.

I agree about BlacKat, especially since you have Paintbrush to work around super taxing barriers. I'd run Snowball or Inti for the Wraparounds of the world and use the spare influence on something juicy like Imp.

However, I should note that this idea is the one I've been aching to try with Kit ever since I saw Switchblade spoiled. My particular dream is to get it working with Yog.0 and Morning Star for the world's most efficient breaker suite, but influence and memory are tight there...

The few times I've played 'full stealth' Kit (i.e. Killer+Decoder), I've always felt it was extremely slow. The time you take to drop all your little stuff (hardware+cloak, etc.) means that you lose all the aggressivity you naturally have when playing Kit. Have you felt the same or did you manage to consistently install what you needed to start running early?

@Exo: I've been playing Kit since she came out, and she's certainly gotten better and better as more cards have come out. However, I believe the Lunar Cycle has given her some insane tools to be top notch.

@ain: Overall, BlacKat has been a mixed bag. It's extremely good against Eli though, costing only 1 real credit and 2 stealth credits to get through. It's also very strong against big barriers like Heimdall 1 and 2. But I agree, BlacKat has its weaknesses, which include its pay cost, heavy influence, and lack of efficiency against small barriers. So far I've been keeping it, though I may switch it out for Corroder in the end.

@linuxmaier: Imp is certainly on the list; that or an emergency Parasite. So far, I haven't needed it, but either one of those would be great against the heavy NBN meta in my local scene.

@Bananifier: This deck has actually been very fast, considering the only cards you need to get in anywhere with Kit are a Refractor (or SMC) and any form of Stealth credit. Since the deck density is quite slated towards that, getting an opening hand with Refractor/SMC + stealth credit is pretty consistent. My opening turn, more often than naught, tends to be Click 1: Install Refractor for one buck, Click 2: Install Ghost Runner/Cloak/Lockpick for one buck, Click 3: Run. Icing on the cake if you have a Legwork in hand.

Astrolabe makes this deck even faster, since you're going through your deck on the Corp's turn. I played against a horizontal Replicating Perfection that had 9 remote servers. That's 9 cards, i.e. 3 Diesels worth of card draw without me spending a single click.

In summary, I can see how the deck can seem slow (lots to install), but take your time with your rig. This isn't a "build your RIG for 8 straight turns, THEN finally run" deck. This is a deck that stays aggressive as it installs cheap pieces of its RIG on the fly.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! This deck is constantly changing but I think it's going to be in a great place soon.
