When I first saw the likes of Tech Trader, all I could think about was the runner from my favorite gang. Then when Spy Camera came out, I knew that this cycle was going to push Geist into the forefront. This is my little attempt at Spyeist... knowing exactly where your cards are and always being able to draw into them.
Programs:
The program suite is standard for Geist. Cloud trash breakers with some old standbys for those rough times. Crescentus is there to hurt corp econ and/or help with iterative runs. One splash Medium can also help during those rough times and seemed like a nice choice given the R&D focus on Spy Camera.
Resources & Hardware:
The resources are standard meta, although it is important to note the boost Technical Writer receives from the larger hardware section. On the hardware side of things, running 6 cams helps not just to boost consistency, but the card itself functions to boost consistency. Of the consumer tech out there so far, I feel that the cam is huge leaps ahead of the other two in realizing this primary function of having a 6-of. On Geist, the cam sees its true potential unlocked allowing for Geist to choose what his free draws will be, what goes under Street Peddler, and when to run R&D. The new console also seems too good to pass up as well. I'll take a link and a mem any day for only two creds, and the other effect is gravy.
Events:
Account Siphon here functions mainly as denial given that the writers and fall guys should easily be able to take care of econ. I dropped Drive By for those occasionally pesky mushins I see in the local, as well for other similar set-ups. With the similar rise of Unethical for IG, I figured a splash into Employee Strike will find a use. If not, I can still use it against all of the Haarps in my local. Finally, a Levy backed by two Same Olds.
