This is my first runner deck, so I'd appreciate any comments on it! I'm trying to take advantage that she can get past any first layer, and ideally be able to use Chameleon and Atman to get around other ICE. I also wanted to make sure she had a good economy going. Again, and comments are appreciated! I'll be trying her out at a causal meetup this week, and I'll report back on how the deck went.

Thank you so much for these suggestions! Originally I was trying to make a fast deck with Hyperdrive and Notoriety, and I've been editing away from that every since. Okay, let me make some of these changes. I agree Aesop's Pawnshop isn't doing me any good sitting here anymore. I was leary about using something like Net-Ready Eyes, but since it's only meat damage I can probably handle it. An issue I have here is the lack of memory. You're right about me having 2 Cyber-Cyphers, and then if I wanted (more like need) an Atman or Chamelon on deck, Magnum Opus isn't good anymore. That being said, maybe trading out Self-Modifying Code for test runs might even be worth the trade, plus it doesn't hold on the the 2 memory. Let me take a crack at this... |

I’m a big believer in putting in a 3x copies of cards and being more consistent in what I draw than having a large pool of cards. With that in mind, I’d make the following changes: 1 = You’ve got two different Consoles in your deck, Dinosaurus & Toolbox, which is illegal. Pick one or the other & go at least 2x on it.2 = Pick one - Magnum Opus, Professional Contacts or Kati Jones and drop the other two.3 = Why all the link cards anyway? (Toolbox, Helpful AI, Dyson Mem Chip) You aren’t using link in you deck, for any extra advantage, Underworld Contact.-1x Dyson Mem Chip / +1 Akamtsu Mem Chip 4 = -2x Infiltration & -2x Dirty Laundry / +2x Test Run & +2 Scavenge – You’ll be able to find your breakers faster and move Cyber Cypher / Femme around.5 = 1x Modded / +1x Clone Chip6 = -1x Spooned – You could use that 3 influence better w/ a variety of cards (+1x Datasucker & +1 HQI or +1 Clot – just to name a few)I’m not really a fan of the Chameleon, but if that’s the theme you want – cool. Those are just a few quick thoughts. GL! =) |

Ah, I was not aware of not being allowed to have two different consoles in the deck(I understood about no more than one being in play), same with Net Ready Eyes. I'll make some changes to thther deck to reflect that. Thanks! |
I like your idea of using Cyber-Cypher, but I'm nervous you have a few problems. If you only have two and no way to change which servers they target, you will probably select their scoring server and R&D. That will limit the amount of pressure you can put on HQ. I'm nervous that one copy of HQ Interface won't work very well with your setup. My suggestion is to spend the influence somewhere else, or maybe go with Legwork instead. You aren't able to capitalize on your ID ability in HQ and that'll hurt you.
I'd suggest getting rid of Aesop's Pawnshop. It's nice, but you don't have enough things you will want to sell. My guess is that you are using The Helpful AI to boost the strength of Yog.0 or Chameleon-- I'm not sure that's your best way. I like what you're doing with Datasucker, and that might honestly be enough to deal with high strength ice. Or consider Net-Ready Eyes as a substitution? Helpful AI is not worth three card slots.
Magnum Opus is an excellent card, but probably won't come when you need it with only one copy. Also, it's 5 to install and 2 is hefty. You're better off adding another Professional Contacts if you want some consistent money.
Depending on who you play against will determine whether or not the Infiltration is useful or not. My word of advice is this: if you play enough, you'll learn to have a good idea of what your opponent is doing. It won't be 100%, but it'll be enough. So I think the day will come when you decide to remove the Infiltration because while it is good, other cards are better.
Two consoles is weird, and both are pretty expensive. Maybe Astrolabe would be a good replacement? But I understand Dinosaurus for Chameleon.
Keep it up! Deck is looking good!
