Yellow Shell (2nd place at Worlds 2015)

Did you feel like on the day of Midseasobs was worth it? It appears you only have 2 forms of punishing multiple tags, Psycho and Lily. Obviously you did very well with this list, I am just wondering if you found it worth it to run Midseasons just for those two forms of multiple tag punishment.

Well, I mean, Psycho and Lilly are good ways of punishing those tags, but there's another good reason for Midseason's. It gives you a way to tag the runner and keep them tagged long before you have the actual meat damage in hand.

Did you play much dlr with this list. With 7 ice i would be worried about siphon, what's your plan?

@podoboyz99 Midseason punishes runners who just run everywhere without setting up their economy, so it's a really important tool for the deck.

@lpoulter Heh, you got me! That finals match was actually the only time I've played against DLR; AFAIK no one in California was really playing it before Worlds. It's a pretty bad matchup because the deck isn't really teched against Siphon at all, though at least there's enough tag punishment that they have to play it very carefully. I'm not sure how best to tweak the deck now that DLR is Definitely A Thing. Some plausible options are QPM, Information Overload, Sealed Vault, and of course Freelancer.

Oh, adding Resistor or more Wraparounds would also help.

This is a NEH kill deck I'd actually like to play.

Say, how do you usually use the lily lockwell? How often do you use the tutor effect, what do you usually tutor for and how do you time it? Or is she usually just a cheap way to draw 4 cards?

@mcpba She usually just draws you cards when you've depleted your hand. But if you manage to land a Midseason, she can find just the right tag punishment cards for the situation.

Why Psychic Field? Did you just have a leftover influence and thought "Sure. Why not?" Or were you hoping to punish Drive By a bit?
