How much money does public terminal really make? It does not seem to be likely that more than 3-4 credits a game. Wouldn't -3 Public Terminal, +2 Security Testing, +1 Same Old Thing be more consistent?

It usually works out for the same reason Prepaid VoicePAD did in Kate: the credits allow for such a credit swing on the turn it matters that it's worth the cost. Turning Dirty Laundry archives into 6 real credits (thanks to Ken) is really good.

The Public Terminal is there to be a cheap card drop when overdrawing, it also enables ken's ability to give you real credits instead of just a discount. yes i could make the the deck more reliable by cutting them but it raises the bar to high stakes job and lowers the credit swing when it lands. if i were to cut them it would be -3 terminal, +1 sot +1 Symmetrical +1 flex slot?(pol op?)

Vs midseasons, the deck makes lots of credits so no problem there so far. 24/7 news is harder, but didn't face any. legwork often would be my game plan there.
