When the old man goes surfing

DrMarodi 320

Just messing with an idea: what if the Professor has the "memory" to run all these programs? Will MWL & NetChip make the old geezer playable? I'm curious how will the Surfer-Paintbrush-Morning Star combo work.

Feedback is appreciated!

I personally think this deck would be much better off without the NetChips, and instead with 3 Cybersolutions MemChip and a couple of Maya. NetChip is a glorified Akamatsu.

@pang4 I agree with the Maya call, consoles are good, but NetChips are both faster and more consistent (6 instead of 3) than CyberSolutions Mem Chips. They quickly outpace Akamatsu Mem Chips in terms of raw storage, with their only real drawback being the install order requirement. He's running 3x Scavenge and 3x Self-modifying Code here so he's mitigating that drawback quite nicely.

@DrMarodi I would try to find a slot for Sneakdoor Beta and possibly run some Hyperdrivers. They are great NetChip targets and help out your matchups in various ways. Morning Star + Surfer is cool, I'd still include the Datasucker support.

I really want to like NetChip. It is cheap and don't create awkward scenarios with Cortex Lock. The major problem is truly the deckslots... but testing will tell I will definitely will include a few Hyperdrivers and Datasuckers.
