Deck valid after Fifth Rotation |
2-2 Seattle Area - STARTUP - H1 Circuit Opener and my first corp deck since 2015. I'm less proud of this deck simply because I don't feel it to be as original as my runner deck. I also feel that it is probably just a weaker version of the original. This is my variation on Wrecko's deck
Essentially I took out the tag punishment, opting instead for Punitive Counterstrike to go for the kill, softening them up as needed with Clearinghouse.
I've learned two mistakes / weaknesses after piloting this deck. First, from what I found, it is unlikely that you'll be able to land two successful Punitives, as the runners just have too much money.
Second, Send a Message's 3 points also puts the corp in some awkward spots where it can both completely enable the Punitive plan, or make it moot since once the runner sits on 5 points, 1 more stolen agenda seals the game. Probably not a consistent enough idea for tournament play, since who knows which card will be hit as the early agenda steal, or if you'll have the killing cards in hand when it happens.
I do really like the idea of using Clearinghouse because once installed in your server it means: "Run and get taxed, or lose". My one concern is that once the trick is known, Pinhole Threading can quickly get rid of that taxing plan.
To note: both of my wins came from flatlines: one from dropping 5 points into archives and revenge killing with a Punitive, and the other from advancing a Clearinghouse too far for the runner to handle. The Pharos and Mestnichestvo combo helped keep Endurance from reaching and trashing the kill.
