Deck went 2-1 in an 8 player tourney. Went 4-2 overall, taking the tourney by SOS (Time to scum the Reputation points)
See Derived From for more full notes.
Larger deck size is virtually irrelevant considering the heavy milling through you're going to do with Replicator.
Main additions are Plascrete (for safety) Personal Touch (for more money savings) and Aesops (to get rid of irrelevant combo pieces, like extra Replicators, Cybsofts in mid-late game, etc)
Another addition was the HQ Interfaces - this allows for supreme central control - and really helped clinch games - even just with the threat of coming for the HQ. RnD did it for me most times.
I really...really want to switch up the economy with this though. Magnum Opus, Modded, CyberSolutions Mem Chip and Indexing is what I want to put in, extracting the Prepaid VoicePADs, Lucky Finds, and the Dirty Laundrys. This would also allow me to run a Personally Touched Mimic - which would be strong if I had a third Personal Touch - damn you to hell Core Set! I could maybe also add a Parasite / Datasucker - which would be strong.
e3 Feedback Implants in any Hardware deck is just really good - and locks out HB totally - going to (maybe) add in a Feedback Filter and Deus X to lock out (some) Jinteki scummery.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with where the deck is / will be.

Honestly, the Cybsoft MacroDrives are mainly there for Aesops bait - because it is reasonable money - the recurring dosh for installing programs is kinda neat. Also remember I'm really never paying for most of the hardware, thanks to Inside Man, so there's really no investment besides for clicks. Considering I intend to move to a MOpus economy, and maybe add in a Parasite, I'll probably keep them, because I'll admit there will be more value than present. But it's certainly on the shortlist of things to trash if I can come up with better ideas. (Although I'll be honest, I wouldn't actually argue with a slightly smaller deck...) |
Cybsoft MacroDrive doesn't look like it does much in this deck. Self-modifying Code is free, Crescentus can be free with Kate "Mac" McCaffrey: Digital Tinker's ability, meaning at best each Cybsoft MacroDrive will save you 3 credits, for a ~2 credits investment.
