Play Stargate! [Standard]

High variance! All traps and full iceless! This deck could be named Jank Programming or Trap City Grid.

Game plan : Flatline the runner with shell games.

Mulligan plan : you want Charlotte Caçador, NGO Front, Mwanza City Grid, Mindscaping, Mitosis. Any one or more of those is good.

Early game, you want to money up as much as possible. Once the runner has run once on Mwanza City Grid, you should be good for the rest of the game.

The high variance comes from not getting Punitive Counterstrike early enough and the runner scoring agendas too soon. Mwanza City Grid is a double edge blade.

Here, you will face three types of runner :

1. They check every remote servers. Then, do not put an agenda until Punitive Counterstrike can be used with success.
2. They only concentrate on centrals. You can prepare your Neurospike flat line with Fujii Asset Retrieval, or even score out.
3. They check a bit of everything. Then, it becomes a games of who will be the luckiest. Simulation Reset will help you try to get Punitive Counterstrike after a 3 points score. You won't get many chances of this.

Beside the 8 agendas, we have 12 others assets that can be advanced. That is nearly half of the deck that can be advanced for some effects. A runner that hit even only once a Cerebral Overwriter is in for a tough game. Only Spin Doctor should ever be put on the board with no advancements. Everything else should always be advanced.

I consider that Mganga is not a real ice, but more like an additional trap. Hence, this is an iceless deck.

Also, here are the flex slots : Bring Them Home. I chose this card because it can slow down the runner by removing 2 or 3 cards from their hand. Since running against PE is dangerous, this is often a turn lost for the runner. But other cards could be used, like Daniela Jorge Inácio or Hedge Fund or Genotyping or Hangeki. I would go for Hangeki, because it is fun to dare a runner. Especially if you play the deck in person.

This deck dies to Stargate. If you see it, you can concede. There is no countermeasure for it, except abusing Spin Doctor and Simulation Reset to break the R&D lock.
