Jinteki Facile Startup

Diogene 4232

Shell game deck, using the iconic PE. Like the shell game it is, it is deceptively easy to think it is easy to play. It a lot of fun and doing mind games, especially on jinteki.net, is so much fun.

! Mind Game

Mulligan plan : Have less than 3 agendas in hand OR at least one econ card (you need credits to play ambushes).

Strategy.

  1. One ice per server. The point is to grind the runner, not really to protect the servers.
  2. Hokusai Grid goes first on R&D.
  3. Advancements on Urtica Cipher and Cerebral Overwriter are there to use Trick of Light.
  4. Trick of Light is to score a 2 points agenda.
  5. Spin Doctor is to bring back Snare! and Trick of Light (maybe Hokusai Grid, sometime).
  6. Do not fear to put cards on the board without an ice to protect them. This is what doing a shell game is all about.

Ice choice : Pop-up Window grind the runner and gives us creds. Engram Flush is just the best Jinteki ice and Saisentan is a good facecheck for the cost (you can even kill a runner early game with it).

Agenda choice : The usual cards grinding, with House of Knives and Sting! (which as a very good kill rate). Cyberdex Sandbox and Offworld Office will give you econ, which is needed.

This deck is my take on the very good Thousand Cut deck (https://netrunnerdb.com/en/decklist/65798).

Bluffing with Jinteki: Personal Evolution is a great way to see another side of Netrunner. The ideas behind this deck is fairly simple : grind the runners cards, so that you have a chance to kill the runner simply by scoring an agenda. Otherwise, make the runner sweat about any run they will do. Tremendous fun.
