So i got struck by a lighning bolt today. You can play The Twins together with Levy University in Cybernetics Division: Humanity Upgraded. I didnt thought about decksize or overall playstyle, yet. But it could be something like this. Please share your ideas.
Alright, listen.. you got 2x Janus 1.0 in your hand tutored with Levy University.
In the server is something to bait. Agenda or whatever with The Twins. It should be your scoring server.
Runner approaches, you rez Inazuma and force him to encounter Howler which you trash for Janus 1.0 and the runners brain explodes. If not, rez The Twins. .

You're totally right. This is the wrong concept to a sucessful deck or a working deck. I need to overthink this. I rushed out of heat and thought about some answers to this but forgot about all this shaper recursion. It would be too easy otherwise.. damn shapers!!! |

I remember having a very similar idea one time ,though the issue is the amount of set-up the combo requires, and indeed if you even have time or opportunity to do so with what little ICE you have to stop the runner from walking over you before then. The most frightening thing isn't running and potentially hitting Janus: It's seeing a card in front of Janus that MIGHT be whirlpool. Or one that trashes programs. And the best way to deploy Janus in a cost effective manner (and Heimdall 2.0) is most assuredly Eliza's Toybox. Or Bioroid Efficiency Research. Just beware of D4v1d... |
It's a fun idea, but I feel like most runners are packing answers to these sorts of situations now, and they'll be prepared as soon as you reveal you've tutored a Janus 1.0. Shapers run Deus X and Clone Chip, Criminals have Faerie (they'll probably double down on Faerie once they clock what you're up to) and Anarchs have D4v1d/e3 Feedback Implants, Knight with Datasuckers or could Clone Chip out a Parasite to kill your Howler before it even triggers. So yeah, it's a neat idea but I feel like you'll only catch out someone who doesn't know the card pool very well and that's not very fun for them at all...
