SPW3 21

This deck is designed to leverage the Gagarin Identity to the fullest, while also providing diverse and effective ICE to facilitate scoring. The major weakness of any Weyland deck is the Agendas themselves, and this deck is no exception.

That said, Gagarin is a lot of fun and surprisingly effective! It taxes heavily and mulligans well. Card choices:

  1. Space Camp: This card is insane. I wasn't excited for it going into O&C, but every game I've played with it (in decks which can use advancement tokens) it has been one of the best cards in the deck. If it advances a constellation ICE or GRNDL Refinery it generates incredible value. With 13 targets it almost never misses, and like all traps the worst case is that it eats a random access and gets dumped into archives.

  2. Wormhole: The constellation ICE looked like they would be too slow, and they are slow, but if you free up clicks by using an asset economy (or get free advancements off Space Camp) they start to shine. Wormhole is the best among them and really lets you build a remarkably varied ICE package. It lets you play powerful ICE, like RSVP and Neural Katana and Architect, as one-ofs, and lets you use your influence to import economy and utility cards instead of ICE suites.

  3. Orion: Orion is your Archer-esque ICE, serving as a big and multi-subroutine threat which must be answered. It is vulnerable to big breakers backed up with Datasucker tokens, but your smaller taxing ICE makes getting a lot of Datasucker tokens a risky (and often losing) proposition.

  4. GRNDL Refinery: What is there to say here other than it has strong synergy with Space Camp and your Identity. A Space Camp advancing GRNDL Refinery can catapult your economy into orbit!

I assume the Neural Katana is for Wormhole?
