Bleed, You Filth!

Since Order and Chaos, all I ever want was to play MaxX: Maximum Punk Rock. Beign an anarch player since day one, MaxX was all I ever wanted besides Noise: Hacker Extraordinaire (Now my second favorite runner). She was aggressive, random, crazy and fast. However, I got a hard time getting a deck that really felt like and aggressive punk rock song that it should. Most of the (awesome) decks relied on the great Anatomy of Anarch archtype, but I was not pleased (I think I played with it for too long). I tried some decks with The Personal Touch with some success but I still wasnt happy with it. It needed more aggression. A lot of times that I'm thinking about decks, I think about what I liked the most on my old Magic days. And I was always a Dredge player or a cruel control kinda guy. Its obvious then, why I love Maxx and Exile (they both makes me remember the old dredge style) and looking for a Cruel Control thing, Imp decks were on the rise and they were looking great.

By creating a MaxX deck, some cards are almost obligatory. A single Levy AR Lab Access and a couple of Clone Chip are always there, and for consoles I was always unsatisfied until Doppelgänger showed up. Thats the console that I was looking for and Imping the corp like crazy, I was really close to be happy with a MaxX deck. But close is not enough, and after creating a cheap suite of breakers, going for Wanton Destruction and then go for a Doppelgänger run (I will call it now DRun) is always awesome, but with MaxX nature of discarding Imps and such, this agression was getting lost mid/late game. After thinking for a while looking at my cards, I read Hemorrhage and I finally saw the final card that I was looking for. With 2 of it installed, every run/Drun make me disrupt the corporation HQ like never before. I was finally playing an agressive deck focused on run and cruel controlling the corp hand. The kind of destruction that a Run/Drun HQ Imping cards and then discarding more 2 cards with Hemorrhage cause and still have a click to check out Archives is what I wanted. I changed 1x Clone Chip for a single Scavenge because its dynamic is just awesome, and I can Same Old Thing it if needed.

Feel the rage and trash all those combo killer cards from the corp hand. Run like there is no tomorrow, go for credits when needed and use I've Had Worse to get to your RIG faster, if needed. I'm finally really happy with a MaxX deck, but I'm always open to feedback, so feel free to comment and help me perfect the deck. Doppelgänger/Hemorrhage is a combination made in heaven for MaxX: Maximum Punk Rock, give it a try and tell me if you enjoy it. I do enjoy it a lot.

Do you feel like the scrubber is really needed? What about a third datasucker?

I've been playing something similar, and it's indeed very fun when it works out. The version I've been playing includes 2x Security Testing (no clone chips, no scavenge), which is pretty good with DRuns and the like. It's also fun to SecTest R&D and get back in with Doppelgänger to see two brand new cards.

Scrubber is a decent card, but not needed at all. Third datasucker would not be my option here, I'm almost going for a Crypsis or a Yog.0. I do like de Security Testing version a lot, but I love my Clone Chip late game to keep the Imp game alive.
