First Time Hayley

melira 1

This is my first attempt at building a Hayley deck. It's a pretty general deck with the hope of being adaptable to different situations, I'm running two copies of Sure Gamble as although the deck has very efficient economy (i.e. Daily Casts, Aesop's Pawnshop, Technical Writer) I feel as though that there may be some opening hands with very little to offer to get the ball rolling. I'm quite wary of my breaker set-up and I'm unsure as to how effective it may be, however I feel as though it's easy to adapt and with my copy of Net-Ready Eyes I'll be able to fight my way through the majority of standard size servers.

Not sure why you need Career Fair. Recommend -2 Career Fair and +2 Drug Dealer for draw. If you want to get down to 45 I'd say lose the gambles as tech writer works better on the decks. Or you could cut Levy AR Lab Access, which seems unnecessary as well.

@MrAaronSA I took this along today to a shop tournament today and I found that Career Fair was basically useless, I just threw it in to come up to the max influence. I found Levy AR Lab Access to be quite useful as I found myself digging through a lot of my deck with the card draw I had and the amount of trashing I did (i.e. Clone Chip, SMC, Aesop's). I will definitely try the Drug Dealers in the deck as an alternative. I also found that I had a strong R&D lock for the majority of games so I'm tempted to try out Medium in the deck as I feel it would help a lot. I would also like to try an extra Mem Chip as in a couple of my games I struggled to find them. I may end up cutting the Sure Gambles as I threw them in there for when I couldn't find an Aesop's in my mulligans to give me some early game help, and in some cases it did help but I think that if I cut them I'll have an easier time finding the Aesop's. I had a lot of fun playing this deck and towards the end I had a strong grasp on how to play it, I just had problems with card sequencing in the first couple of games. (NEH seemed to be my best match-up).
