Corp seems to be downtrodden nowadays, so I decided to go high-variance with Titan. Was also hoping that it wouldn't be that hated out yet since at least 4 winning lists appeared in the past week ...
Stole the list off the Sydney-siders (Vicarin and Inactivist): https://netrunnerdb.com/en/decklist/49300/this-titan-deck-i-swear-to-god-1st-newcastle-store-champ-
Took out the 2 Mark Yales and replaced them with an extra CVS and also CORPORATE TOWN. Rationale is that some games you get locked out by The Source and some games the runners get amazing momentum with a lot of resources (Turning Wheel etc) and this gets you back to parity.
Boom never came into play. Probably could and should be the 3rd Executive Boot Camp.
The standard play is to score 3 Atlases and 1 Hostile Takeover, via a combination of rush behind ICE, Biotic Atlas (7 credits), Audacity Atlas (1 credit), and Dedication Reconstruction Atlas (you can do this on turn 1 with 2 credits).
It took me a while before I got into the flow of the deck, and suffered some absolutely crushing losses when I first tried it where the Titan deck wasn’t even able to put up any resistance.
Of course, sometimes you can just randomly lose to RNG as well, playing this kind of deck.
A few things that were not immediately obvious were:
1) extra Hostiles turn on Archer and Corporate Town, and makes it more difficult for the runner to get the last point, therefore, score them on sight
2) installing an EBC in a remote almost guarantees you a Reconstruction Contract during your next turn (unless they run EBC then run HQ and trash it) – this is super important because:
3) you can FA New Construction with Dedication and Reconstruction just like an Atlas with 1 extra credit (install New Construction, adv NC installing Reconstruction automatically, then Dedication)
4) you can FA a GFI (through The Source) with 7 credits using Biotic, install GFI, install Reconstruction, Dedication, Dedication. This is a 5 card combo, but remember you have an Atlas token and an EBC on the table somewhere already
5) Mausoluses should go onto RnD and also HQ as much as practically possible
6) Illegal Arms Factory should probably go behind a cheap gear check ICE early on
7) Rarely do you ever want to search for an Atlas to HQ if you’re not ready to score it yet
8) Probably better to start with a hand of no agendas but some defense, rather than trying to get a hand that can rush out turn 1 or 2
Swiss: 1) win against Sunny, 2) win against Kabonesa Wu, 3) lose against WORLD CHAMPION Hayley, 4) ID
Top Cut: 1) win against WORLD CHAMPION Hayley (had to manually purge through 2 sac cons with help of one CVS), 2) win against Val (Corporate Town was key here).
Paired with Geist (which is amazing currently): https://netrunnerdb.com/en/decklist/49389/-grant-geist-1st-melbourne-games-lab-store-champs-18-3-18

Would calibration testing be any better than biotic in this deck? It just seems to work well with new construction. Really like the deck! I'll be sleeving this one up |

Actually I could see biotic working well because you'd get more installs from manually advancing new construction, so that makes sense lol, didn't notice that |

Not a lot of econ tho for those Biotic Labor! Another (janky) play is

Biotic is better because you don't have to install Calibration Testing in a remote before hand (where it can be trashed). Calibration can also be trashed out of your deck/hand, which is bad. @zmb You have surprisingly enough econ to even use 2 Biotic in game! I like your janky play :p Thank you. |

Dedication Ceremony says you can't score until next corp turn. |
Good news Guava, well "played" sir 8^)
