I'm going to be posting a decklist a day looking at the interesting side of Throwback Format deckbuilding.
What is Throwback Format?? Simply put it's Standard but you can add 1 full playset of a rotated card OR play with a rotated ID - Eric aka Whiteblade is running a Charity Tournament on the 5th using this tournament! More info here - https://www.hemophiliamb.ca/events/netrunner-tournament/
Now please feel free to stick 3x Account siphon into your reg 419 or Caprice Nisei into your Jinteki Glacier but if you could just wake me up afterwards from the coma inducing slumber you have put me in due to your unimaginitve deckbuilding!!
Instead let me try to inspire you with some slightly more off the wall choices! #4 of the series is:
Throwback Card: The Cleaners
What’s the first thing you do after you’ve had the builders in?? You call in the Cleaners!
You should always question any game plan that starts with: Step 1 - Score a 5/3. However if you can manage to get a cleaners scored everything becomes very painful for the runner.
City works is the obvious other choice here for the synergy and as we’re now running 6x 5/3’s we mignt as well play punitive - the threat here can also help you score put that first all important agenda.
Shout out to Mobius Striptease who I pretty much lifted the ice suite here from their Lockdown deck. Akhet is probably the best thing to happen to the BON ice suite, Engram hurts anarchs a lot and goes on centrals with Mauselouses (Mauseli?) Border control is your only protection against Siphon so put one on HQ if you suspect it!
AOYCR can get you a cheeky fake point to make your scoring plan easier.
There’s some ‘fun’ tricks in here with Argus Crackdown and Wake Up Call (particularly good at getting rid of devil charms/simulchips in parasite decks)
