green tree ver.01-08-60

Basically the same as https://netrunnerdb.com/en/decklist/58db4291-b4ae-448a-a283-cdb66134153b/green-tree-v-12-18-61. Just posting to claim our little GNK today. 3-2, losing once to outfit (who trashed WT with big deal SDS lmao) and once to R+.

I swapped the top hats for flame outs just to see how they feel but I still think they're bad. Verbal plasticity is really good though.

Thanks for posting these @bblum, I think I prefer this MU-less flavour of big wu, and it's nice to see the evolution. I haven't gotten to actually take this for a spin yet but I had a few questions:

  1. How do you juggle all these programs on 6 MU? By that I mean, what's the order of things / the general gameplan. Do you start by just building board with World Tree, remote camping with Boat + all the breakers, and eventually swapping something out whenever Mad Dash comes up, to free up the MU for Stargate?

  2. If I try to map out the "states" of this deck, I'm imagining something like:

- Early: Boat + WT - Remote camp: Boat + WT + 3 breakers + Utility (Turbine I guess?) - Gating: Boat + WT + Gate + 2 breakers - Late: Boat + Gate + 3 Breakers + Utility

  1. I could see myself getting greedy and slapping down a stargate as soon as RnD is accessible then feeling bottlenecked by MU later on... but I guess you could always Tree it away once they overcommit to defending RnD and bring it back with Simulchip/Reclaim for the closer? Seems ok. How early do you try to get Stargate out?

  2. Does DreamNet fit in here somehow? The 3 cost is nice for seeking with tree, and seems like if you're going to run once-per-turn for tree and boat, might as well draw as well?

  3. Is there enough Aesop's Pawnshop targets to play this over something else? It seems that you'd want to consume some of those targets for World Tree anyways, further reducing what you can sell off. I guess it's nice to have the flexibility between cash or specific cards, depending on how a particular game is going. You mentioned Environmental Testing in the other writeup so maybe I'm just trying to fit that in haha.
