Ken's Comet

Comet is meant to be used with tons and tons of events. Ken is meant to be used with tons and tons of events. Here's my combination of those things.

Yes, it has lots of cards. But that's because it's a first draft, and I need to see what does and doesn't work. Whatever doesn't see much play will be cut. I'm thinking it might end up being FAO, but I can't really picture not wanting it in there somewhere. I may also cut Express Delivery, though I actually like it better than QT in most cases (because you don't have time to use your cards with QT very often - well, with Comet, now you do!). I may just end up with a big deck, which could be good, because I may well run out of cards quickly with this one.

Gameplan: Get out Comet and PPVP as soon as possible. Many PPVPs if you can. Then, use one run event and one economy event each turn. This will balance it out so you're not running more than you're comfortable doing, economically speaking, and it will take advantage of Ken's ability best. Use the rest of your turn drawing up, installing breakers, and gaining credits if you need them. Don't be afraid to use the third event in a turn, but be aware that it's less economically helpful to use many events in a turn.

I haven't tried it yet, but here are my predictions:

Early Bird is going to be a hit, finally. I don't see this often, but I think it could be so cool if people actually tried to pull it off. it's not that great in most builds, and the ones that would like it are usually running Doppelganger anyway. This deck needs events, and run events especially, so it could work extremely well.

People are going to be attempting to use Comet with Hailey, and we'll be beating them down hard until they realize that Comet is for Ken.

As usual, PPVP will be a huge hit. Kate has proven its effectiveness; we're here to take it in a slightly different direction. I might swap it out for Public Terminal though, depending on whether I am using run events every turn or nearly every turn.

Things I want to make room for:

Running Interference, because it's ridiculously fun Grifter, because hopefully you'll be making successful runs every turn Indexing. I might take out The Maker's Eye and one QT for it.
