The Unfettered Mind

Premise: Can I make a more selective, but more dangerous classic PE deck, using The Future is Now to dial up the kill components in Chronos Protocol: Selective Mind-mapping, utilising the ID Ability to, rather than do trickle damage, but to snipe important survival components such as Plascrete, or critical programs?

Answer: "I have no idea, but it looks like it might be fun finding out!"

I'm a bit skeptical about your agenda suite - considering that you only have 9 pieces of ice, naturally defensive agendas like future perfect and Fetal AI seem like a good fit for the deck.

Fetal is not quite as devastating as it is in PE, but I imagine it's still a pretty painful deterrent.

@Thomas Haas I wish I could agree, and just three short months ago, I would of. Then Film Critic happened, which dumpstered every standard Jinteki Agenda in one go.

Film Critic is a thing, certainly, but if you can survive giving up maybe 1 or 2 hits of it to the runner, you should be fine. The idea behind sniping is to punch out those breakers and/or money...and/or recursion...whatever tool that you think or know the runner deems most valuable to them at any given time. At that point, you flip off their Film Critic and laugh. :P

Trust me when I say that Babies and Futures fit very well in C.P., especially when you have program destruction running. I made my two toughest opponents in the local meta squirm silently, cuz they either lost their recursion or money and couldn't get anything going before I scored out.

That being said, a straight damage -> kill C.P. would be fresh and interesting, and I'd like to know how it does for you. :)

Way ahead of you @esutter479, this is my usual CP Deck: netrunnerdb.com

I only made this because I got tired of Babies & Futures -NOT- firing.
