There is No Spoon

Liu Kang 13

I'm sure there will be a ton of decklists like this floating around, but this is my take on a Kit deck with Spooned. Having nine of your ten Influence spent on one card is pretty constraining, but that synergy is just too strong to not tinker with. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

IMO, with 3 Diesel, you're not likely to need Quality Time. QT takes up not only space, but money as well, which you will need for not only playing your breakers, but breaking stuff with them as well. :)

If you MUST have at least 1 QT, then I'd suggest throwing in Armitage Codebusting times 2. At least then, you can recover a bit easier from taxation of any kind, while pumping up Kati Jones for some more glory runs.

That's a really good suggestion, thanks. QT and Diesel together are probably overkill. Is there a rule of thumb for card generation vs credit generation that people stick to? I'm definitely going to play with -2 QT +2Codebusting, I think I went overkill with card draw because I last played with a friend who loves Jinteki.

Also, dumb question. Do you know if I can edit a list after I've published it?

Eh, not sure if there's really a "rule of thumb", per se...but more logically, we tend to look at our regular opponents, and then do guessing games of our own in our brain. Even against your friend who loves to play Jinteki, over time, you'll get so used to clicking to draw cards on the turns that you run, that you won't even miss QT, IMO. :)

As for editing a list after publishing...I do believe that all you can really do is go to the published list, click on "Copy", then go to "My Decks" and make your modifications from there. It should list your modified deck as "Derived from", so that folks will know that's where the idea was born. Hope that made sense. :)

I was toying around with a deck with this title, but mine is silly. It's sage with knifed and overmind. This doesn't look that different from my spooned deck.
