Team, Team, Team, Team, Team

"Denholm: Look at you. My Dedicated Response Team. Team players, each and everyone of you.

Roy: Yeah, well she ahh...

Denholm: There's no room for people who can't act in a team on my team. (phone rings)

Excuse me.

Hello. What? Well if you can't work as a team you're all fired. That's it you heard me, fired. Get your things and go.

Hello security. Everyone on floor four is fired. Escort them from the premises and do it as a team. Remember you're a team and if you can't act as a team you're fired too. Dawn. Get on to recruitment. Get them to look for a security team that can work as a team. They may have to escort the current security team from the building for not acting like a team.

Team. Team. Team. Team. Team. Team. I even love saying the word team. You probably think that's a picture of my family. Uh uh. It's the A Team. Body; Doyle; Tiger; The Jewellery Man. The whole lot of them. So what do you want to tell me?"

Ever since I managed to squeak a win at a small store champs in Worthing last year using Making News, Manhunt and Dedicated Response Teams, I've wanted to show the value of DRT. Trouble is, it's too easily trashed... until now. With the influx of IG Museum builds, there's suddenly a way to recur your DRTs, ensuring your gameplan isn't over in a few well-timed runs. Midseasons is the trigger, so Gagarin helps keep them poor.

The shell of this deck is entirely nicked from mediohxcore's 'Hot Tub Time Machine!' build. Read his explanation of how it runs for some actual value: https://netrunnerdb.com/en/decklist/34924/hot-tub-time-machine-

Spam out your assets and make some cash (Turtles, Commercial Banker's Group, Launch Campaign). Standard IG horseshit with Museums if your assets are being trashed. Key difference here, trash punishment is a little more Dedicated - Dedicated Response Team, that is. Intead of Hostile Infrastructure, you punish every single successful run with 2 damage per rezzed DRT, with the goal of setting up for the scorch kill. But hey, if the runner isn't careful, 3 Teams will kill them on a single run. The DRTs are instatrash so recur them as much as you can with Museum. If you can keep them in play, they'll tear through Plascrete and IHW in no time but Salem's is there to assist with this, as well as key breakers/parasite/levy/SOT.

Read Dan's HTTM deck commentary to understand the agenda score, which is absolutely feasible. Cleaners is a pain to score but if you can rush one early, it makes DRT dumb.

Whizz is a difficult match up, as for any glacier, but if he's expecting the Hostile Infrastructure (thanks for getting your deck to DOTW Dan) rather than the DRT, he can easily get caught out on a single run.

Couldn't you drop a midseason in this build and sub in something else NBN wise and just tutor up the midseason on demand with the Weyland operation searcher?

I mean, you only really have to land a midseason once right?

@Myriad What other NBN cards are you suggesting the? Landing the Midseasons is SO important that I think 2 are necessary. Could switch in some Atlas' for tutoring but that makes the fast advance score more difficult. What operations tutor are you thinking about?

@Myriad``@RubbishyUsernameThanks! That's a real help. -1 Midseasons, +2 snare! Nothing more joyous than someone continuing on a facedown snare when there are 2 DRTs out.

Snare is alright, but I think the 2 influence per copy could probably go elsewhere.

My suggestion would be to include a +1 copy of Heritage Committee. That card is bonkers good in Gagarin Asset Spam with MCH.

It lets you basically check the top three cards every turn to see if you like them/you want to shuffle an agenda back into R&D and if you don't you can just search up any other alliance piece you want. Its pretty crazy.
