Iain seems well positioned against the current metagame. He has The Source to slow down the fast decks and fast advance decks - backed up by Fall Guy and Film Critic. His Sports Hoppers (powered out by The Supplier) protect against trace decks and kill decks alike, while turning on his Underworld Contacts. The single (but tutorable) Political Operative can help against glaciers.

Between his ID, Tri-Mafs and Calling in Favors, he can generate credits as fast as Temujin without making runs. But he still enjoys the benefit of efficient icebreakers - especially paperclip, which doesn't need any redundancy, so it actually saves you influence. Stacked code gates on remotes could be scary, but in reality you should be able to find enough points with your RDIs before the corp can score out if they try anything like that.

Not having Off-Campus Apartment in this deck feels odd. With FA on the wane, perhaps:

-1 The Source -1 Mongoose

+2 Off-Campus Apartment?

The Source remains vital even despite the waning of FA. Even ignoring the presence of Jeeves based FA or Biotic Labor to close out the game, both of which would be terrible news otherwise for this deck, The Source prevents never-advance shenanigans and even buys the runner one more turn when the corp IAA a Global Food Initiative. When it comes to Off-Campus Apartment, it has it's advantages and disadvantages. It's at it's best when installing connections for free, is alright when installing off of The Supplier, and is awful when you don't get it early. If you're playing Off-Campus Apartment, you want 3.

Not that I'm certain about the influence spend though: out of any criminal, Iain doesn't need redundancy in Barrier breakers, and that the single point of influence saved by running Corroder instead would work wonders. Efficient yes, can be ditched instead of installed while you're still drawing up, yes, but still.

I am interested by the choice of two R&D Interface. It's a lot of influence, it enables R&D locking at a point where you should already have complete control over the remote, and yet I can totally understand why you want to run them. It is just a very interesting move still.

From my own experimentation, however, I can't help but feel you should be Rebirthing from Andromeda: Dispossessed Ristie into Iain. Get the fastest start in the game, all but guarantee a Supplier or, if you're running it, Off-Campus Apartment, which you can afford to because you get a ridiculous 4 extra influence, tutor it up with Logos with the first agenda score so you can start firing Iain, and that's not to mention the incidental benefit from leaving the corp in the dark as to your intentions early on. You can even not rebirth into Iain if it becomes clear that the corp are never going to score a single agenda because they are some kind of degenerate monstrosity. Jinteki.net doesn't handle Rebirthing into Iain very well, but as far as I can see it's still almost all upsides.

I also like the idea of Rebirthing from Andy to Ian - you could then fit in the Campus Apartments influence wise. You've got so many connections here, think how fast you could draw through your deck to find what you need.

Am I the only one that's too scared to consider Tri-Maf Contact a card I want to include in my Criminal decks? Only one use a turn and potentially a free kill for the Corp if he trashes it which as NBN I'm sure he'll have fun trying to do. Yes you've got Fall Guy, but they only last so long and that's IF you get three of them out.
