EDGE Store Championship Winner

YodaSensei 295

Won a tournament this week-end in France with 29 players with 5 swiss rounds + top 8. Stealth was the latest gossip and flavour of the month for Andromeda, so I gave it a try at our Store championship tournament. Facing 7 Glaciers deck (6 RP and 1 HB) was probably the best thing that could happen as switchblade gives you an easy and cheap solution against the usually expensive Sentries (Komainu , Ichi, etc.)

The only thing I'd change would be the 3 John Masanoris. Without The Source, Mister Lee would be a better choice, but The Source will be bringing the ultimate tool for card drawing in Andromeda decks : Earthrise Hotel.

Looks good. As a fellow stealth andy player, can I ask why you aren't running any kati jones, inside jobs or emergency shutdowns, or why you included the pair of central breakers? Trying to tweak my deck before the store championship arrives.

@IonFox : the pair of central breakers act as both :

  • a safety, in case corroder/refractor gets trashed on a random damage from the corp
  • a better chance to get a breaker early : that's especially useful with the rise of Grail ICE, which can destroy your rig even with a barrier or code gate as they can gain "trash program" subroutine, meaning you need all 3 breakers before even starting to facecheck ICE, where before a lone Faerie was enough to be safe.

Kati Jones, Inside Job would really fit in this deck, but I don't feel I could spare any other card for them form this list. Emergency Shutdown is good in an economic war deck (like Gabe) where keeping the Corp poor is key to victory. Andy/stealth can cut through any server for cheap: having the corp low on credits is good, but you can still win if it isn't.
