Nii San! Is this legal in startup?

Fork the runner into impossible choices! This a fun startup deck.

Game plan : score out with Regenesis or flatline the runner with Punitive Counterstrike.

Mulligan plan : Get some ices early.

Nii-san, you're dead!

Never ever install Bathynomus. That ice is there to be trashed (either with Anemone, Hansei Review or by overdrawing) to poison archive. Nanisivik Grid will allow Bathynomus to do 3 net damages! If you have put Fujii Asset Retrieval, that add up to 5 net damages. If Anemone was put in front of archive (it is meant for that), that is a whopping 7 damages.

Now that archive is a death trap, you can score out with Regenesis. If somehow, the runner goes past all this (Steelskin Scarring is a wonderful card), you can use Punitive Counterstrike to flatline the runner.

In the early game, is a common trap to leave two 3-points agendas in archive, if you have a Punitive Counterstrike in hand. Just get credits and do 6 damages after the runner score those.

SanSan City Grid is there to allow you to score Regenesis from hand. Paying 5 (rez cost) + 2 (advance Regenesis) to get 4 points is a bargain.

It seems that Nanisivik Grid is not a card that is remembered, which make this deck all the more lethal. Fun times.

Cheers!

Very neat and I like it.

One thing to watch out for is that we can't use Mavirus to push past a Clot because it will turn off our Regenesis.

@Council thanks! You are correct, thank you for pointing it out, it is an interaction that is often missed.

Clot is a great counter to one of this deck strategy. In which case, you will probably need to score agendas normally.

Cheers!
