alex's first runner deck

Hello - I am probably an intermediate player so feel free to take my feedback with a pinch of salt.

I worry slightly about the pace of the deck; you are using Magnum Opus for economy, which is what I do, but that has the net result of giving you less time to do anything else with your time. I would consider putting in some card draw cards depending on which ones you own. "I've Had Worse" would be an excellent card for instance, especially as if you are playing against a damaging deck you can hold on to it for safekeeping.

I would also consider whether you need to try and set up an entire rig with all three breakers, and also have AI breakers as an option. I would, especially for a first deck, pick a direction and go with it and if your opponent is running the worst possible counter to it then that's just going to happen.

I also worry that all of the things you want to install are just going to cost too much, and that that pacing thing will bite you again.

Most importantly though I'd say try and play with the deck with what i have said in mind - if I am wrong then great! I suspect that what I say will ring true in some cases and from there you can deduce what cards you want to take out.

The idea is really simple. Give the corp tons of bad pub and collect cards from Vigil and force corp to rez things earlier (spend their money) with Blackmail.

What your deck lacks most is foresight. What do you want your late game rig(s) to look like when it's complete? Will you really need that much memory space? I think what you'll find is that you'll be wading though so many useless or duplicate virus's or programs that you'll never get what you want. You have nothing to get rid of these useless cards for something (i.e Aesop's Pawnshop). There are also cards to tutor programs into hand, do you need 3 of them?

You're also not utilizing all the bad pub that much. There are other cards like Personal Workshop that can build your rig for free with all that free cash.

I highly recommend recursion cards like Déjà Vu especially as Anarch. Would it be awesome to use Investigative Journalism or Blackmail more than 3 times?

I like where you're going though, with some gameplay experience you're sure to find the nice balance of things that make for strong decks.

So if I'm hearing you correctly I need some cards to help me cycle especially with the deck size and I need to streamline it a bit so that the economy is going to match my final rig. As far as cycling goes, how about Mr. Li? I can't remember what his influence is off the top of my head but in my criminal deck he is amazing. As far as the rest goes I'm gonna have to sit down and explore more options. Thankyou again!
