Dominion Conspiracy (Voting Machine Initiative - OKORINA 3)

Patriots hate this one deck!

Designed for OKORINA 3, with your ID replaced by Voting Machine Initiative. This lets you take a click away from the runner at the start of their turn. So does MCA Austerity Policy. Combine both with a Hard-Hitting News and suddenly the runner can't clear enough tags without click gain or instant-speed Misdirection. Then BOOM! to your heart's content! Also good to help prevent stealing Ikawah Project, or clicking through Fairchild 3.0.

Lots of directions this could be optimized. Go to one BOOM! and put in enough other green cards to trigger Consulting Visit? Border Control? False Lead was considered but I don't think it's good enough to be included. Prisec might be worth considering though!

Went 2-2 on the day, beating a very offbeat and interesting Beth Kilrain-Chang deck and a Bhagat deck, but losing to more competitive Patron and Aesops decks who had much less trouble finding the answers to this version. Purple kill is always fun though and worth trying!

How does Voting Machine Initiative work as an ID? Does it even gain agenda counters, or you can trigger its ability even without them?

@m.p For Okorina, the agenda is considered "scored" at the beginning of the game, so you have three counters to work with. It was usually enough in the games I played.

Super cool deck! Curious if you ever considered Load Testing--definitely possible it's overkill, but also seems like it could give you a critical combo mass sooner?

Load Testing has possibilities. I suspect the card slots are hard to find for it, but if I wanted to really go all-in on the click tax it could work. MCA/Load Test/HHN followed by VMI token leaves them on 1 click, enough to prevent a Misdirection play. Might be worth including over, say, Ark Lockdown and the Restore.
