Pre-rotation decklist |
This deck began as an attempt with Weyland Consortium: Building a Better World to combine Off the Grid and Dedicated Response Team to punish the runner and freely score agendas, protected from runs by layers of HQ ice.
I couldn't make it work. I also couldn't see an advantage to using BaBW instead of Blue Sun: Powering the Future. With the current cards, BaBW will yield a maximum of six credits from the deck's transactions. With Oversight AI, I think Blue Sun can rapidly outperform the original choice.
It appears to me that play would follow Blue Sun norms, except for frequent tagging and its accompanying threat of flatlining. This is a "tag and bag" deck, but that's plan B. First priority is to ice up HQ and R&D, install and rez Off the Grid, and begin advancing agendas there while rezzing and bouncing cards for cash.
I really wanted to toss in a Snare! or two, but I'm not sure how to free up the influence.
Ditto Architect.
Aggressive Negotiation is there because I want to be able pull whatever ice, agenda, or Scorch I need, but it may be too situational for that purpose. Ideally an over-advanced Project Atlas would cover that, but I worry it isn't enough.
There may be too much tagging, but until I test it, I can't be sure. Besides, more tags should waste more runner time clearing them or open them up for a killshot. Right?
Two final points: I suspect there's not enough ice here; I'm counting on Blue Sun letting me shift it around as needed. Even more concerning is the lack of card draw (other than Jackson Howard). A few Green Level Clearances would be a welcome addition.
This is my first built-from-scratch deck, so I'm certain there are mistakes. I appreciate any feedback!

Softman25 speaks the truth, Curtain Wall is probably better for you in 9 out of 10 cases. Another card you may want to consider (if you haven't already) is Crisium Grid. For the rez cost, it's a pretty heavy tax of two runs on HQ and another five credits before Off the Grid is trashed. |

I personally don't like Oversight AI & Curtain Wall mainly as i been seeing alot of D4v1d e3 Feedback Implants combo's but also it's actually quite slow. |

Hmmm. Losing a Curtain Wall before bouncing it would really hurt. I think it'd be more of an early-game move, though? Hard to say. Is there another expensive ice that you think works better with Oversight AI? Or do you take a different strategy altogether? |

No i don't think their is a better ICE than Curtain Wall to res with OAI taking into account Influence and the rest of it. I opted for a completely different approach and that's worked out for me. I use a more traditional econ and generally lower res cost ICE and this keeps my pace up. You only need about 5c to get a Sea & Scorch in so i kept that in mind with my ICE looking at having a few 5 cost ICE so i can bounce then kill at any moment. |
100% needs Curtain Wall - especially if you're going to go with the Oversight AI combo.
Maximum credits - activate.
