CactusJack 118

You'd think, with a title and gif like that, this deck must revolve around Advanced Concept Hopper. Well, sadly you'd be wrong.

This deck is another deck constructed to meet a league challenge. The challenge: No (zero) out of faction cards.

I chose HB because it's fairly well balanced. It has in-faction card draw (Green Level Clearance, and Blue Level Clearance), recursion (Archived Memories, Reclamation Order, and Clone Suffrage Movement), good ICE, good economy, and one of the best upgrades: Ash 2X3ZB9CY.

Plus, with some well played combos, you can Efficiency Committee, then Reclamation Order, and then install all 3 of your Adonis Campaigns from archives. If Clone Suffrage Movement is still in play, you have effectively never ending asset econ.

This deck actually won versus a Ken Tenma deck, but lost against Apex.

I hope this inspires some of you to try the challenge as well. Let me know how it goes.

Possible changes: -3 Eve Campaigns, and either +3 Advanced Assembly Lines or Thomas Haas. I'd also love to be able to squeeze in Enhanced Login Protocol.

There also a ton of good HB cards, and I wish I could fit them all in.

How did somebody make an Apex: Invasive Predator deck with zero out of faction cards?

@Raiddinn They didn't. The Apex player wasn't adhering to the challenge at the time. He was running DDoS which let him get past 1 layer of ICE, then he dropped Apocalypse - twice. Too big of a hit for this deck.

Personally, I think Shaper and Anarch are more balanced for playing solely in-faction. Each has good draw cards/engines, good econ cards, good breakers, and good recursion. Criminals lack good breakers and recursion.
