I've been using this deck in casual games and so far it's been fairly successful, especially in the late game. My goal is to punish Runners by making runs expensive and fruitless. Either Runners must pay to avoid tags or pay a "tax" for stealing agendas. For example, a scored Utopia Fragment makes a NAPD Contract protected by Red Herrings far too expensive for most Runners to steal. If a taxed agenda is stolen, I play Midseason Replacements to overwhelm them with tags since they just drained their credit pool. Psychographics then pumps out Project Beale. In this way, I incorporate some fast advance tactics into my playbook. Tags, of course, trigger Closed Accounts and I trash resources to keep Runners poor. In my view, most Runners are effectively shut down with economy denial: cards cannot be installed, some events cannot be played, and this makes runs impossible. Economy denial slows down Runners as they try to click for credits and shake off tags. Although Caprice Nisei eats up my influence, she has paid off (no pun intended) in many games! She works wonders for a Corporation with porous ICE like NBN. Drip economy like PAD Campaign and Marked Accounts (despite charging it every three turns) smooths out the "click economy." Pop-up Window keeps the money pouring in for days.
Some possible changes:
Replace Sweeps Week with Midway Station Grid and make Runners cry. However, burst economy is always welcome. Manhunt is another option.
Replace Data Hound for one more Data Raven to keep up tag pressure. (DONE)
Wall of Static is cool and all but I wouldn't mind something a little more...tougher? I try to keep ICE affordable. Sure, NBN is a Megacorp but they need to manage overhead somehow.
My deck is a work-in-progress and will only improve in time. Thanks for reading!

`@Thomas Haas That's a great idea. I suspect Eater will be popular and Wraparound is cheap to rez. |

What about working in a Lotus Field as well for those virus ridden Anarch runners? :) |

no thoughts on swapping out caprice for ash? seems the ash fits the goal just fine and you're saving some influence |

@esutter479 I thought about including Lotus Field since Anarchs are making a comeback! I would have to drop a Viper to include it and use it to ICE up HQ. @ericbtool Ash 2X3ZB9CY is a great card and I did consider it. My only concern was that it appears that it has one use - Runners can't beat the trace, access only that card, and then trash it. Caprice Nisei, at least in my experience, consistently ends the run over and over again. I should try Ash in my next game and see how it goes. Maybe I can then include Lotus Field. |
Quick Note: I would go with Wraparound instead of Wall of Static if there are Eater decks in your meta - Eli should be taxing enough against standard barrier breakers.
