DinoChameleon

Atman's are proxies for Chameleon.

Is it possible to leverage Hayley and Chameleon to apply lots of early pressure, especially with London Library?

Is it a good idea to use Public Sympathy to ensure you have lots of room in your hand to collect those Chameleons after they uninstall every turn?

Is it reasonable to expect you can Test Run a Chameleon, then using Hayley's ability, install a 2nd one from your hand (on London Library if possible) and get into a lot of servers just with that?

Does All-nighter help when you want to drop all 3 Chameleon's but avoid running on your last click?

Do Datasucker and Net-Ready Eyes get more mileage out of Chameleon? Does it always make sense to run Parasite with Datasucker? How about Dinosaurus along side Scavenge re-host your Chameleon with a new breaker-type? I get the feeling like Dinosaurus isn't the answer for this deck to be honest.

I also feel like I wan't more MU. Maybe Astrolabe instead? Or somehow, Leprechaun? Or maybe ditch the Parasite and take Desperado?

If you are getting rid of Dinosaurus (I think this is the right call) you could also get rid of Public Sympathy and run Box-E and LLDS Processor. For Chameleon, this is a much better combination of cards for the same effect IMO, and Box-E is mad good with Hayley. It gives her the space to overdraw and be sure she can use her ability, and the to reliably use it on programs. You'd probably have to lose Corroder for influence, but there are plenty of other fracters in-faction that work just fine.

I've been playing around with Chameleon and Hayley for a while. I think Hayley is a great choice for Chameleon, since you can do stuff like clone chip/smc in the middle of a run and then drop a Chameleon from your hand. With Chameleon costing 2 to install though, and only being strength 3, you really aren't getting any additional pressure out that you couldn't get by just using mimic, corroder, or pretty much any shaper decoder in the middle of a run with usual shaper tricks.

Chamelon/Hayley's synergy is going to be more useful later in the game when you have Sahasrara down and Scheherazade. Of course, LLDS Processor combos well with this too. These cards work really well with an Exile Dumpster Dive Economy, pushing out Cache and selling stuff to Aesop's Pawnshop. If you want to get really fancy you can use Savoir-faire to install mid run.

Anyways, that's the direction I've been taking my Hayley/Chameleon deck and it's had some pretty good results. You can pretty much just take the Dumpster Gamble Exile deck, fit in 2 Chameleon's (2 is enough) and 3 LLDS Processor's and try it out.

Also a bit of analysis on your combo: London Library is saving you 2 per turn per Chameleon you have to install, minus any you choose to use Hayley's ability to install. When your turn ends, you resolve the Chameleon effect before the LL effect, meaning it never gets trashed. That's awesome.

However, I wonder if it would be better to go with straight recurring credits for this, say from Sahasrara or Cybsoft MacroDrive? Or perhaps in conjunction with it. You really want to use Hayley to get out two Chamelons for a single click, and doing it totally free would keep your Magnum Opus clicks to a minimum.

@dupl3x I like the fact you have a proper rig behind it i think that's wise. I like the choice of ID 2.

I dont however think Dinosaurus is the right way to go and i think your missing some bits i personally thing LLDS Processor are the way to go since they can add the benefit to more than one at a time and can get higher.

I also think that as mentioned before Scheherazade is good with some cost reducing cards it could turn into econ. but i feel the biggest part to the puzzle is Autoscripter this not only saves you the click but essentially gives you 1 free one thanks to Hayley and it works with London Library

How did I forget Autoscripter... Kind of begs you to run Tyson Observatory as well.

You are heading far into Janktown with Autoscripter and Tyson Observatory, which is fine, if that's your thing. I have tried it though and believe me, only the most passive of corps will sit by and let you get your super combo built. Plus, once you have Autoscripter out it almost forces you into passive play, since one wrong move and you will lose it.

I have tried full jank on these ideas, only to find that it is way too slow. Yes, the end game is basically unstoppable, but you will never get there 9/10 games. My advice would be to use a couple Chameleons in hand like silver bullets, along with LLDS (a modest investment) and some datasuckers, which work with everything anyways. This would be perfect for getting through sentries, as this is kind of the shaper weakness. You can set up the rest of your rig to handle barriers and code gates with ease.

@ila Your right that it's janky but i think as soon as a card needs more than one card to work it becomes janky.

@FarCryFromHuman I think id go the way of Astrolabe and Trade-In for finding something like Autoscripter my self you can run 3 Astro's to see them early and help speed things up and your bound to find replacement ones for the trade-in.

I think all in all that Magnum Opus is the one thing that doesn't fit the deck though with so many things eating away at clicks.

I can't believe I forgot LLDS Processor. That's what I get for building decks in the middle of the night when I can't sleep.

Anyway, here's the new version: netrunnerdb.com

I like the deck a lot. One thing I noticed in your description, you mention testrunning a a chameleon, then using Hayley's ability to install a 2nd one from your hand on london library. I don't believe this would be legal, as hosting on LL requires a click to be spent specifically through its ability. Others can correct me if I'm wrong.
