My most successful period at competitive netrunner with riding the astrotrain with NEH Grail. I figured we had seen a few new cards that support this archetype and we're in a meta that rewards having answers for both reckless and cautious runners.
The main difference here from the old lists I would play are the influence all being shifted to Hunter Seeker. With 3 Blacklist the goal here is to pry open scoring windows, engineer a lock out, or prevent the recursion of powerful cards. I used to use Chronos Project but that's really hard to land, you know? Focusing on Blacklist makes it a lot easier to pull off at the key moments.
My personal spice injection is the upgrade package. There is a good argument to drop 1-2 Product Placement for other things, but it is my favourite card in the game. Will-o'-the-Wisp is proven to be a strong card in this archetype, and Self-destruct is just funny. Every game that has gone south I have always held onto hope of drawing this rather than fully tilting. It is the out when there are no outs.
I've had mostly good results with this so far, it can score at a fair clip and punishes the runner who tries to keep up. Main weakness is a strong runner start with power events and AI that manage to avoid retribution, or deep R&D digs. Runner currents don't cause much bother, you're too focused on scoring to feel much effect outside of them messing with Jackson Howard.
