Hostile Protocols

I love Encryption Protocol, plain and simple. It is not the most effective card available, but oh, so mocking one! I am struggling to find an effective use for it, but only recently I found a peculiar interaction between this and the Hostile Infrastructure. The goal of this deck is to land a brain damage or two onto unsuspecting runner - hence Fenris and Viktor and family. Then with Hostile onboard, trashing all the precious economic assets is not so appealing... And to add insult to injury, you can quite safely land her Majesty with a protection offered by her loyal subject. From there on - go nuts.

The trick here is to keep Hostile Infrastructure hidden until the Runner meet some brain punishment - it can be downhill from there. Neural EMP is just an added surprise for an unsuspecting Runner - when he catches a brain damage, he will be either much more careful around your guns or you can simply catch him with his pants down.

The deck is light on ice (for HB), because the main protection here is prohibitive (and dangerous) trash cost. For an added bonus, Architect can serve as an emergency killswitch for Director Haas - better kill her yourself than let the Runner do it for you.

Also, with assets being expensive, dangerous and/or protected, under the watchful eye of your CEO, Melange Mining Corp nets you 7 creds the turn it's out and prompts an immediate termination - at the increasd trash cost and some surprising net damage!

First version included -2 ELP, +2 WoW for and added protection against some nasty killers, but I decided to swap, mostly because of Viktor 1.0 and Eli 1.0 being completely bananas with ELP out.
