Asa 2+5 (Countdown to 2024)

To celebrate the new year, myself and other members of the QTM testing group will be trying to publish daily decklists showing off ideas we've built and explored but didn't end up publishing for one reason or another. I was messing around with this very briefly back in early September, but quickly moved on to other (better) ideas.

At the end of August, jtfq published a monstrosity of an Asa deck that aimed to score 7 points in one turn by using Simulation Reset to loop Biotic Labor for clicks and Your Digital Life for credits. It was a cute idea but seemed highly impractical: as the corp player understanding when it was possible for you to go off was both difficult and often non-deterministic (relying on drawing more Fully Operationals from the first), it had Clot problems, and looked too slow to win before you just lost on centrals.

However, I do think there was something to it. This brew is my attempt at a more streamlined approach, fast advancing a 2 point agenda followed by a big 5 point combo turn, instead of doing all 7 at once. This means we can cut out the SimReset loops and make our lines much cleaner, while also freeing up influence to play Mavirus to help against Clot.

I still don't think this version is very good for what are probably obvious reasons (it requires you to stick multiple remotes on board to use FullyOp, it can't defend centrals properly, the combo is still expensive and inconsistent) but I'd love to see if a version of this deck can be made to work consistently. Winning from 2 points with a good hand is a very cool thing to do.

You should check the other list published by @Jtfq99999 : netrunnerdb.com

That monster does not need Mavirus and makes Salvo Testing a terrifying agenda.

Kudos for the list, if you want a long breakdown of the amazing work done by Wage Workers, you can see it here.

How reliant is the list on finding SanSan City Grid?

Cheers!
