Deck valid after Fifth Rotation |
5 minutes into the tournament I ended my turn on 3 cards, 5 credits, and only one NFL installed.
This deck only won 1 of its 3 games, but realistically it should have had the first game as well (against MattOhNo's BtL). I landed an early boat against an undefended R&D and racked up a hefty pile of counters before deciding I'd rather lose the game.
In my second game (Scarlett's NEH) I accessed a Snare off R&D last click having already seen an EotL in R&D. We'd already shuffled our decks back together before I remembered I'd had an NFL installed.
My final game was against snuggle's PE. It was slow and painful and made me have to rush my corp game, but I followed the flowchart and without cerebral it really feels like it's lost its teeth. Draw up; run everything.
This deck is based on Izzy's adaptation of Andrej's list. I simply took out a Rigging Up to bring it down to 45 cards, but I don't really know if that was a worthwhile change.
My Corp list was a RH deck from Paillu that went 3-0, but I'm keeping that decklist private until ey's had a chance to play it.
A big thanks to both for giving me last-minute decks for an event I barely prepared for (why would SBT release the hottest banlist of a generation two days before my first Startup tournament in six months?)
First place went to the well-deserving znsolomon. We played some pubrunner after the tournament and I was decisively swept. I'm very happy with third though, earning me a full corp collection of Kalypso's gorgeous IDs. The event was an absolute blast and I can't wait for the next one!

You can't prove anything! I've already dismantled the deck and returned the extra copies |
Truly the weakness was only hubris - this deck invalidated my ice so fast, it brought on the fatal overconfidence (also my deck lost to znsolomon getting 2 NFL down early, so I was incredibly lucky to win vs someone running 3 who ignores all ice).
Also I'm pretty sure your corp deck was somehow 25% snare by volume, loved that
