It only makes sense for a Thrillseeker to take up surfing. Not like anybody else did...
The goal with this was to find synergy with Wu's ability for something more than "look...I can tutor a Self-modifying Code..." I mean, cool but...she's a Thrillseeker...not a...Boring...seeker.
Yeah, SMCs are going to be a thing to bring out the rig quicker, but might as well make it fun after turn 2 also. The "rig" is really just Brahman and Surfer, then either just break with Brahman or surf through a whole server. To ensure that can happen without incident, we use Wu's effect. Bringing in either a 0 cost to cover Brahman's effect, or in the case of a 2-ice server, throwing on an Egret, surfing in, breaking, and letting Brahman's requirements force Wu's to fizzle.
Forged Activation Orders helps ensure that front ice is rezzed and if the corp is being stingy, shove an Egret into the heap and Clone Chip it in when they stop being a wuss.
There's a ton of room for play here also, the deck doesn't run off a whole lot; Technical Writer's are kind of a no-brainer with all the free installs, The Turning Wheel is also useful since running is pretty simple so might as well build up for a bit. Misdirection is kind of the cute HHN prevention as I can bring it in click 1, use it for 2 and 3, then run to keep it safe (or kill it off...there are two...who cares?)
It's a dorky little deck idea, figured it could be fun!
Cowabunga, dudes!

I think the problem with Takobi might be the wording "non-AI-icebreaker". Brahman is your main breaker :/ |

Move over, Kit! Looks like she's not the only surfer anymore. I've always loved Brahman but it's hard to find the right deck for it. This is definitely something I'm going to give a try! Thanks for sharing! |

I'd thought about Oracle May actually and settled on ProCo. I actually thought also, with the influence and the card to instead use Window so I could keep the program in the deck. I further iteration of this might actually try that one out. I'm back and forth on Cyberdelia also. I only actually break one piece of ice each run so it's not a huge gain...but I'm still playing around. This is try number one. Glad you guys like it so far! |

I'd thought about Oracle May but settled on ProCo. I figured, for the card and influence that May would give, I'd actually rather have Window so I can keep my Wu jankiness in the deck and keep installing at a discount.

Cyberdelia only triggers on the first ice broken, so it won't matter much if you're only breaking one piece a turn. Takobi might take a little while to power, but it could be worth it to break Fairchild 3 with Chameleon for 3 instead of the 8 it would take for Brahman. |

Cyberdelia only triggers on the first Ice broken each turn, so it won't hurt to surf/break. I'm really loving this concept, can't wait to try it out! |

Great idea for a deck. I have also been trying to think of what to do with Wu besides install SMC faster - I realised DaVinci is actually pretty good for her - if HQ is open or there are remotes you want to check, you can install a DaVinci, run three times, then install something like Daily Casts from your grip. |
I had been thinking about something like this. I think I prefer Cyberdelia over the LLDS Memory Diamond. 1 less to install and helps pay for runs. Likewise Takobi keeps the rig cheap to run. Do you think you could make room for Autoscripter? Probably means losing Peace in Our Time but it ought to be a real boost when you get it.. Likewise, if you are expecting to install every turn then either Sahasrara or Dhegdheer might work. It's a deck I definitely want to try out.
