Ice-Melting Noise

Sap the Corp of all his ICE!

The general idea is to build up virus counters on Nerve Agent and Medium and perform huge trashing runs with Darwin + Demolition Run on mega-buffed Hivemind + Incubator.

The big turns will typically consist of: 1. Trashing Incubator's virus counters onto a Hivemind. 2. Run on R&D and access (hopefully) +7 cards. Medium will get another virus counter. 3. Perform a Demolition Run on R&D to trash 8+ cards. Medium will get another virus counter. 4. Run on R&D again and access 9+ new cards.

You will typically win after one or two of the above combos. If you are still short on Agenda Points, it can be worth running on Archives to grab any Agendas you have milled/trashed so far.

Keep using Imp on any ICE you access on the runs that build up your Nerve Agent and Medium.

Parasite any ICE they rez and use Forged Activation Orders on unrezzed ICE while they are low on funds. Djinn with impunity to tutor out those Parasites and Medium as often as needed! It can also be useful to install the Hivemind on the Progenitor.

Try to build those virus counters as fast as possible, to force the Corp to purge them as frequently as possible. If he lets them get too big, sting him with a huge run. Slap down those Festers as fast as you can to further punish them for purging virus counters.

Try to save Retrieval Run and Déjà Vu for grabbing Parasites and Imps from the heap.

Eventually, the Corp will have run low on ICE and you will have amassed a huge number of virus counters, digging deep into R&D and milled a huge part of their deck. Stealing agendas from R&D and Archived should be achieved in no time at all!

so... no draw?

I guess I was relying on a combo of Djinn and Ive Had Worse to suffice.

If you really want to bust those ICE instantly, add Clone Chips to install Parasites buffed with tokens from Hivemind during your power turn.

@konradh Thats actually pretty huge! Make those runs even easier before you perform the massive runs. What would you swap out? Cyberfeeders?

If you are counting only on that one powerfull RD dig I guess you don't need 3 copies of Fester, I think Virus Breeding Ground is more importnt for this combo. 3 copies of Demolition Run is also a little too much, 2 will be enough to find it reliably.

Remember that with Clone Chip you also find more use for Cache as an economy card.

Also, try including Personal Workshop. My friends played this combo in MaxX: Maximum Punk Rock due to her natural draw, Noise with Djinn is a little bit slower, but there is a chance you will slow corp down with your "normal" mills.

It was more a case of relying on 1 turns worth of powerful R&D digs, using Demolition Run to draw up new cards on successive runs, as most players will purge the next round when you have 5 counters on Hivemind.

I really wasn't a huge fan of Virus Breeding Ground in play testing. The fact that you have to use a click to move each Virus Token is seriously taxing, and when they finally purge, you have wasted all those clicks. However, it is a good way to hopefully start with keep at least 2 Virus counters on your Progenitor'ed Hivemind after a purge.

Yeah, I love that when using Noise, Cache acts as both a decent amount of income and a R&D mill for very little cost.

What do you think about swapping the Retrieval Runs for Clone Chips?

Since you have 6 influence points to spare, what's the reason to not include Clone Chip? You don't own Create and Control yet? If you have it, there is little reason to not include Chips in any Anarch decks. Most important, with large amount of tokens on Hivemind, you can install Parasites mid run and just trash ICE on sight. You need succesful run archives to use Retrieval Run and you don't have very expensive programs like Morning Star or Femme Fatale to truly benefit economicaly from it.

I think you must decide if you want to be combo deck with Incubator->Hivemind->Medium->Demolition Run or mill deck. If you want to play the combo you need cards to help you set it up quickly, so even more copies of Djinn, Progenitor and Hivemind just to find them reliably.

Inject or new Street Peddler can help you with draw especially when you can bring back two different viruses with Deja Vu.
