Judge Dredd

Judge, Jury, Executioner.

Here is the trick to playing this deck: Know that Justice will ALWAYS be served.

Step 1: Defend the Innocents.

The honest denizens of Mega-City One are in our hands. They depend on vital services such as banking, retail, housing, electronics, entertainment, guidance, and most importantly, JUDGEMENT.

Step 2: Identify the Perps.

The Grand Hall of Justice has many protocols in place to defend the people. Still, perps will try to breach our security and break the law. THIS WILL NOT GO UNPUNISHED.

We have many threats in the Grand Hall to help us locate the scum. Once we find them, they will be judged swiftly.

They will try to wiggle their way out of our grasp by evading the justice system entirely. We have dedicated teams ready to respond.

If the perps instead venture into the heart of the city, encryption locks will slow them down.

Step 3: Be Proactive.

Some perps will hide in the shadows. We must show them we mean business.

The psychology of the common street rat is well understood by our Psi Division. They are demotivated by simple tricks such as economic triggers.

Once they see the error of their ways, they will rise out of the back alleys and into our snares. That is when Justice is served.

Step 4: Dispense Justice.

Walter the Wobot is a vital part of the team. He can assist in any number of tasks such as further zoning in on perps faster than they can evade us, furthering the Grand Hall's agendas, or executing orders more efficiently.

Step 5: Victory for all of Mega-City One!

The plan is flawed, yes. But trust that it will lead to victory.

One last warning, if Judge Death leaks into Mega-City One, the only solution is to set a trap and banish him to the Cursed Earth. But he is foolish and will always take the bait.

Drokk!

Alright all the points for flavor, but does it win? I've been wondering if a horizontal gagarin is viable (sans motemple) for a long time, and while I like what I see I'm curious how screwed you are vs any decent econ engine.

Also it seems you're totally reliant on a snare pop for the first tag to rez the judge in the first place, so i'm guessing this is more for show than anything?

Yes, it can win.

I have been playing various never advance decks this year. Every good NA deck has to push the runner in at least 2 directions.

Here we make them want to run remotes to check for agendas, judges, bankers, etc.

But they don't want to run remotes because it creates a credit and click swing. At best, the corp makes 2 credits and the runner loses a credit and a click just to see a snare.

The real weakness of this deck is losing Jeeves. You can't score out without Jeeves. And this deck needs to score out. You can't totally rely on snare to win you the game (although it does happen often enough).

Is it as good as whatever top competitive Corp deck is being played right now by anyone? No. But I believe a deck like this (not sure this one is tuned well enough) can be as competitive as any other deck when piloted really well.

It is an entirely different play style that needs to be embraced.
