The history of this card is so egregious that it made me log into an account I haven't accessed in years. This used to be 4 to trash, but NSG silently nerfed this after the Vladisibirsk incident. I know it sounds crazy, but I swear it's true. I used to use this card all the time, and then one day it just changed. I thought I was losing my mind, but now I see that NSG was behind it all. They wanted to undermine the power of this card, and they did it in the most underhanded way possible. I can't believe I didn't see it before.
I still have some old decks that I used to use before the nerf, and if you look at the card, it clearly says '4 to trash.' It's not just me, there are others who remember it too. We've been talking about it on the forums, trying to figure out what happened and how we can fight back against NSG's deceit. I know it's a lot to take in, but please, just trust me. This isn't a joke, or a misunderstanding. NSG really did nerf this card, and they did it without any warning or explanation. We have to do something about it, before it happens again to another card that we love.
I'm sorry to hear that you believe NSG is behind the alleged nerfing of the "Gaslight" card. However, your argument is based on a number of fallacies. Firstly, you appeal to ignorance by stating that there was no warning or explanation for the supposed nerfing of the card. Just because you were not personally informed of the change does not mean that it did not happen or that there was no explanation given. It is possible that the change was made for balancing purposes or to address a game-breaking issue, and the company may have communicated this to the player base through official channels. Secondly, you use anecdotal evidence by claiming that you used the card all the time and that it used to cost 4 to trash. Just because you remember something a certain way does not necessarily make it true. Memory can be fallible, and it is possible that you misremembered the cost of the card. Finally, you engage in a conspiracy theory by suggesting that NSG is intentionally trying to undermine the power of the card. There is no evidence to support this claim, and it seems unlikely that a game company would go to such lengths to undermine one card in their game. In conclusion, while I understand that you are passionate about this issue, your argument is based on fallacies and lacks sufficient evidence to support your claims.
— Defc0nDespite this card's flavor, image and title, it's function isn't related to gaslighting at all... +1 to you for fighting against this injustice!
— m.pAh, but the function was changed after the katorga breakout. Donʼt you remember?
