It turns out that all of those extra botulus, Clot, and Chisel counters you get while playing Cookbook can be used for something else! Introducing The Nihilist, a card I had never seen played before I added it to this deck.

When I played this deck the worst part was the fast advance decks that scored out before you had a chance to do anything. Adding Clot helps a lot to equalize your pressure against the Corp. IDK if it's worth the additional value of the purge action to the corp, but it has caught a couple people off their toes.

Added Steelskin scarring to prevent meat damage against PE and Punitive Counterstrike decks.

Removed Rejig and Archival run since they weren't adding much value and by that point the game was pretty much over with.

Added Self-modifying code to make getting the perfect chisel or Botulus easier.

I like the concept here! I've been playing around with a Loup Avgustina Ivanovskaya deck that i just published as well. How have you been finding your ability to get into servers without a more traditional breaker suite? Does it feel like you're still applying enough pressure?

I think you can get 1 central locked down, especially if you're Imping ice as you see it in r&d and HQ. Honestly, if you get a good fermenter going, pressure isn't an issue.

I've been so shocked at how well Fermenter performs. I've been running it without Cookbook and it's still been solid. I'm super new to Startup and had been playing Hivemind Maxx in Standard. Fermentor was pretty good there and I had my doubts that it would pull it's weight. Man I was wrong.

One weakness of this deck is a server protected by two Magnets, since Boomerang is unique. It doesn't happen often, but when it does it is bad. You could drop the two (or just one) Boomerangs for a single Buzzsaw, that you only install when it makes sense. With the two Self-modifying Code you can get it exactly when you need it.
