NBN SA

Alerriantv 9

Decided it would be fun to dive in to some deck building using the cards I currently own. I love NBN as a faction, both from a flavor stance as well as their diversity. I have a tendency to play decks in most games that rely on some janky combo or generally using a rush strategy.

My thought process here is to use a San San City Grid remote server in order to score low cost, low yield Agendas as quickly as I can.

Currently I only have access to 3 copies of the Core Set and 1 copy of each Deluxe except Honor and Profit. That said, feel free to steer me in the right direction regardless of which set those cards come from.

I think this is a great deck! 17 ice is probably the right number.

3x Archangel feels like a lot, but it's high strength for only 4 to rez, so it's definitely good. I personally don't like Matrix Analyzer unless I'm using advanceable ice because otherwise it requires you to have an agenda installed to get the benefit. Enigma, Wall of Static, or Bastion could be fine replacements for ice.

You might find that News Team isn't doing you much good when you draw it. If that's the case, I think Product Placement would be a fine substitute.

Oh! And a single Red Herrings could be nice when trying to score out the PSFs or GFIs.

@PureFlight Thanks for taking the time to look at my deck! I've been in card games a long time, but only within the last few weeks for Netrunner. It's good to know I'm heading in the right direction!

Do you think it would be conceivable to drop the 3 Matrix Analyzer for 3 Enigma and 1 of the Archangels for a Red Herrings?

As for Product Placement I think I will see how News Team goes for me for now, mostly because I don't have that Data Pack yet, haha.

Thanks again for your help!

Ah, I forgot Product Placement wasn't in D&D, my bad.

If you ever pick up Cyber Exodus, Pop-up Window is really good in Spark, too.

Yes, I do think those switches are a good idea. If you find that You're not seeing enough ICE, you could try dropping a Closed Accounts or SanSan City Grid for another ice to get back up to 17.

With your experience with other games, you might find Corp deckbuilding in particular to be really strapped for slots because you have to put in agendas. I was really frustrated when I started. Such is the way of Netrunner. Good luck!
