Version 2 of this deck
Protect centrals and economy assets with cheap ice early, then set up a scoring server with either Janus or Komainu and The Twins. If you can overscore a vitruvius the combo gets even scarier.

Why Corporate War over Accelerated Beta Test? Or if you just want the Corporate War money - why Project Vitruvius over Accelerated Beta Test? ABT is amazing in The Foundry: Refining the Process due to how low-risk it is. The ID ability can save you from a whiff. 3x Jackson Howard gives you bonus insurance too. |

Vitruvius vs. ABT is an easy call .. Vitruvius is a HUGE enabler of a flatline if you get even one counter on it. To elaborate:
As fars as ABT vs. Corporate vs. NAPD I'm just guessing on what will work. You really need to get to 17 credits to threaten Janus/Twins flatline. Also, you don't want to rez Janus or Komainu until they run, so that you can be sure you have the other copy in your hand. So I think there is some anti-synergy with the goal. It really will take actual play testing to decide these things though :) |

Also, since its non-obvious: Komainu keeps subs for the whole run, so if they lose their hand on the first pass, it will still have all those subs on the repeat. If they pay through the subs, then it will have double the number of subs on the repeat. |

Things that make us sad:

Interesting. I hadn't considered the possibility that The Twins could trigger multiple times on the same run. I still think there's a good argument for Accelerated Beta Test over Corporate War though! Ignoring the free-rez perk, it being a million times easier to score helps a lot imo! |

You may be right about ABT, but to be fair, its literally just as easy/hard to 'score' as corporate war (1 cred. notwithstanding). BUT, its probably more likely to have a beneficial scoring bonus. |

Well the difference in the difficulty-level that I'm talking about here is more that Corporate War needs to survive a turn with an advancement counter on it, making it a giant target for the runner; however, Accelerated Beta Test only needs to be installed facedown. This allows for ABT to camouflage as an Asset/Upgrade. |

I like the changes, though I lean towards ABT and/or NAPD over Corporate War. One fear I have is that Eater is going to rock everyone's world and become a near default add into a great many deck types, and I would love to find a way to fit 2x Swordsman into the deck....but that means ditching 2x Jacksons... Argh, O&C is going to be so chaotic! |

I had a similar thought .. but you'd only need to drop 1 jackson .. I'm only using 14 influence :) |

I'd almost rather just make sure we are taxing eater decks though .. because mimic will be an auto-add in any eater deck I think. |

Oh man, I didn't notice the 1 free influence from 1.0! I'll probably drop a Jackson and Ichi for a couple swordsman....we'll see how prevelant Eater is though when O&C drops. |

I don't hate the idea. Basically you have 6 cards in the deck where if you score them with 4 advancements it makes the flatline much easier. |

I almost want to get one more Ichi in, because with an ETR behind it you can 'blender' to kill their breaker and score an agenda, and keep The Twins. Possibly a good early way to start putting pressure while you save up for Janis. |

Neat deck but I don't understand Komainu given the influence. I definitely see why Komainu is nasty, but for all that influence is there not nothing better? Almost seems like a Tollbooth might be better. Doesn't enable the kill, but makes things damm costly and less parasite-able. |

Agreed that its a boatload of influence, and this is all just theory at this point anyhow ... but its the cheapest ice that enables a Twins flatline. In fact probably only Janus and Komainu enable the flatline at all. Would definitely be interested on your ideas on how to spend the influence though. |

And in some situations Komainu is actually better than Janus .. like if they have DeusX, David, or Femme. |

femme is a boss against komainu. because you're bypassing the ice, you never encounter it, and it never generates the subs. so... you can pay 0 to bypass komainu with femme. |

Oh interesting, guess that hasn't come up in my game group yet. Learn something new every day :) |
Made this small change:
The only thing really worth rezzing was Janus and if you've scored a 5/3 she is probably already up and running.
