Mostly, spread the cost out. You hold the GCS until you really need to draw. With Kit, early game you only dig to find a decoder, then you should be running. So 1 draw while running and building other board state is fine, then drop the GCS while accelerating through your final board state. Paying 5 is a massive tempo slam, when you an get a moderate boost for 2. Similar benefit, more apt to kit's draw/playstyle, with less tempo hit early. |

So I tried this deck out, as you insisted. I played against an NBN mid range deck, and round it quite fun to play. A few things to note, the deck can be quite poor most of the time. It's not too bad, as most everything is cheap to install. I did find the change from Professional Contacts to Symmetrical Visage and Gene Conditioning Shoppe to be quite nice. As you said, you don't need to hit the 5 threshold for it. Drawing for 2 a turn seemed enough most of the time. I really liked the three Cerberus "Lady" H1, as they did get taxed quite a bit. Same Old Thing Scavenge worked well for them. I was able to get a Refractor backed by 3 Cloak one game, so that provided a lot of my runner econ. I didn't need to install Switchblade at all in my games, but the rigs is quite tight. Cyber-Cypher felt a little out of place, but I could see it as a good secondary breaker. With Spooned and Same Old Thing, you can put a lot of pressure on the Corp to over ice. Woman in the Red Dress is a really nice touch. Once your rig is setup, Woman in the Red Dress just primes the game in your favor. Thanks for the list |
2x Gene Conditioning Shoppe + 2x Symmetrical Visage (and no other Genetics card) to gain the ability two clicks per turn that 3x Professional Contacts would give you every click? Maybe I'm missing something, but I just don't see the benefit.
