🔥 Trick Shot Hoshiko 🔥

They say Trick Shot is a Shaper card.

This shell might be better in Shaper. But 🤷 I'm an anarch I guess who cares? Actually... It started as a deckbuilding challenge: "Let's break Trick Shot out of faction."

The shell:

  • Mainly Mayfly + Trick Shot. Mayfly's self-trash doesn't trigger until after Trick Shot finishes resolving. Trick Shot provides the cash to boost strength.
  • Ashen Epilogue gives us access to additional copies of Trick Shot & Mayfly. Plus, I finally found an excuse to play >1 Ashen.
  • We also get to play orange cards including Moshing, Tsakhia "Bankhar" Gantulga, & Maw.

Mayfly doesn't survive for the remote run though, right? It trashes itself when the run ends, which happens midway through Trick Shot's resolution.

@Gyro88 it does survive 😊.

Since Trick Shot & Mayfly have the same nested triggers “when the run ends”, you elect which one to resolve first. Resolving Trick Shot first lets the Mayfly “linger” until Trick Shot is done running the remote.

It’s cursed; I know 🥵.
