Rush or Crush them
I've been testing for a couple of days and went 12-0 in octgn up to now.
Try to figure out your opponent by ID archetype. You can play this deck rushing agendas, like any TWIY* deck or you can kill the runner.
Plenty of economy events here: 3x Green Level Clearance 3x Hedge Fund 3x Restructure 3x Sweeps Week
...and enough cheap ICE. Tollbooth is the only expensive ice and even though Data Raven looks expensive, it's cheap for the level of taxation it puts to the runner.
This deck is all about early to mid game, BEFORE the runner can get rich. A problem that Blue Sun usually faces. Leave centrals unprotected and score your agendas in a single remote. Given the economy of the deck, they'll get midseasoned hard if they steal agenda from centrals. Better cover HQ for crims or other Siphon oriented decks though.
Now then...you need the runner tagged! Either to Scorch him/her, or to tax him 3cr to remove it, or in rare occasions Psycho a Beale for >3 points. Given the current meta and the splash of Film Critic in almost every deck, midseasons can sometimes be rendered useless, hence 2x in the deck + 2x SEA Source.
You also need to be faster than the runner and Green Level Clearance works wonders. Rush everything before Plascretes or runner economical advantage.
I was torn between Global Food Initiative, NAPD Contract and Explode-a-palooza, but with Film Critic in play it ruins the plans for taxation/midseasons. GFI wins the game with 3 agendas whereas the runner always needs 4.
Cyberdex Virus Suite takes care of clot and Jackson is Jackson :)
In every match this deck needs to be piloted differently, there is no auto-pilot, given the fact that SE is 2of and sometimes can't be found. Instead, ICE can be found, psychographics or opportunities to tag them just to trash all the resources.
For a 3rd Scorch, check out this version. -2 GFI, -1 Archived Memories, +1 SE, + 3 NAPD/Explode-a-palooza

Did you play against any Faust decks?
