DoomRat 2429

As you'll see if you look at the runner lists from this RAM, building that side was... hard. Really, really hard. By the time I had settled on a plan runner side, I had 18 minutes left to build this corp. But fortunately I had learned a couple of things:

  • Runners had very poor options for breaking ice.
  • There was no viable asset tech (in other pools Apocalypse would have been an option, but playing apoc into Hostile Infrastructure is a bad time.
  • Really just everything runner side was bad, you just needed to have a quasi-viable win condition and be able to keep runners out of HQ.
  • There was probably a Keeling deck, but $#@$ that card.

So I new I wanted to play assets, gear checks and not be red, so I went off and search of something that could actually win the game... and some how ended up on this pile. Plan is:

  • Get Brain Rewiring to 3 advancements on a Djupstad Grid with a click left over.
  • Play Kill Switch
  • Score the BR, pay credits equal to cards in the runners hand, then win the kill switch trace so they take two core and flatline.

This should have never in a million years worked, but somehow it happened three times. The other game DeeR had Biometric Spoofing, which is a card I totally forgot existed, so I had to go to my back up plan of "Hope the runner takes some core damage some how, then score three Ontos." Which also happened.

So yeah, it's a magical time of year I guess?
